The new version of the software to generate and manage metadata was already installed at twenty customers’ places of business and more installations are in the planning stage. The customers appreciate the good cooperation with the applications by the ESRIESRI company and the option to adapt the application’s visual appearance and print outputs to own needs. Many of the customers utilize the option to keep the records of the spatial data physical location, and of the contact persons to these, in MetIS.

In addition to the new installations, the MetIS is continually being developed and improved. Since the beginning of this year, several new functions have been finished. We have also developed new connectors to both, the T-WIST (CEU, SZDP, system administration) and to the third parties applications (EOS).
