Digital cartography

Section of digital cartography deals with problems of building of large geographic databases, their visualisation and arrangements of professional cartographic outputs. Products of firm ESRI - especially ArcGIS, ArcView GIS and also CPS (Cartographics Production System) of firm T-KARTOR are used for these designs.

ArcGIS is a professional tool suitable for high-quality outputs of the geographic database. Therefore it can be recommended for voluminous or complex and complicated map compositions and their presentations either in a form of plotter printing or printing files for other DTP processing or data for offset printing.

ArcView  is a table integrated tool for work with geographic data. It provides to make very comfortably and easily formation of variable thematic maps in a very good quality. But it´s exceptional in - an interactive communication to a user, where it proves as a universal and effective information system.
