History and the present of the firm

The company T-MAPY spol. s r.o. (Ltd.) was founded in 1992 as a daughter company of the company T-KARTOR Swewden AB, placing of business in Swedish Kristianstad. Since the beginning of its existence our company has been specialized in the problems of Geographic Information Systems ( GIS ) and cartography with utilization of ESRI software products ( ArcGIS, ArcIMS, ArcSDE). Above all we are oriented on rendering of complex services to a customer, starting with processing of an offer or project via data and software supply, "fully completed" instalments, to a long-term service and consulting support.

The two founders of our company have increased a number of employees to 55 permanent experts and more than 10 external specialists since 1992. To be able to offer a comprehensive, up-to-date and efficient design we are in co-operation with professional consultants in some areas of the GIS utilization.

We use the net of the personal computers and workstations, which are especially equipped by ESRI software products . We have also digitization sites used for input data creation and ink jet plotters  for graphic printout. The fix connection to Internet is a self-evidence.

We have already obtained a lot of positive references in this country and abroad since the foundation of the company. These references sustain quality and reliability of our company.

Status of the firm on the market

Our company pertains to the leading Czech firms offering the complex services in creation and further development of Geographic Information Systems, based on the most up-to-date technologies. We offer our professional, analytical and programmer experience within the Geographic Information Systems implementation in real conditions of our customer and we also provide a wide spectrum of utility and consultative services.

Our strategy

We can see the Geographic Information System as a live organism, which integrates data, hardware, software and all users itself. In each phase of its development we put stress on the last letter in the name GIS - "S" as a system. This one can be created only by a consistent integration of single components on the base of passed strategy of development of the whole information system. The goal of the team of realization, consisting of a customer, suppliers and an integrator, must be a viable GIS.
